No pupil may absent himself / herself without obtaining permission previously.
If a Pupil is late or absent he must bring written justification in the absence record in his handbook.
A pupil who is absent for three consecutive school days or more due to sickness must produce a medical certificate.
Pupils who have been absent from school for more than a month without permission will be struck off from the roll.
Pupil who has been absent on public holidays shall be liable for fine of Rs. 50/- and exemption will be only for medical grounds.
Leave shall be granted only on prior written application from the parent.
In case of illness, medical certificate should be produced after rejoining the school.
A doctor's fitness certificate is required to join back the class if the child is returning to school after suffering from an infectious disease.
